Trident Technical College will host an Adjunct Faculty Job Fair on Thursday, July 21, 4:30-7 p.m. on Thornley Campus in Bldg. 920 (The College Center).


Trident Technical College in North Charleston, SC invites applications for in-person adjunct positions for the fall and spring semesters. These positions are based on TTC's Thornley Campus for the Fall 2021 semester but candidates must be willing to provide online services as needed.

Candidates selected for an interview may be asked to complete skills assessments, such as a teaching demonstration. Preference is may be given to applicants with previous teaching experience and who are available to teach in-person at other TTC campuses or sites.

Prior teaching experience is preferred. Ideal candidate will have the ability to monitor students in classroom and lab sessions while keeping accurate attendance and grading records.

This part-time contract position requires a current compact licensure /SC licensed RN with a minimum of one (1) year of current experience in caring for the elderly or chronically ill of any age.

Ideal candidate will have familiarity with the scope of work of a nurse aide as well as the necessary skills. Also there will be clinical teaching opportunities between our two clinical facilities. Excellent customer service, interpersonal skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential. Courses will potentially be offered during the day and/or evening.
