English: Mahmuydiyah, Iraq (Nov. 16, 2004) - Builder 1st Class Hector Calderon, left, holds a safety strap connected to Steelworker 2nd Class Jim Muskevitsch as he welds iron support beams into an impact crater in order to reconstruct a bridge in Mahmuydiyah, Iraq. The bridge was severely damaged in repeated attacks by insurgents. Both Caldron and Muskevitsch are assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion Four (NMCB-4), Kalsu Detachment. NMCB-4 is currently assigned to the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), who is conducting security and stability operations in the northern Babil province of Iraq.
