My photos are taken either with my older Nikon Coolpix 995 or my newer Nikon D40 or my newest Nikon D300. I have also owned an older Nikon Coolpix 600   which was my first digital camera that I got around 1998, however the quality of the images from that one can not be compared with newer digital cameras but it was great fun when no one else had digital. The resolution on that camera was 1024x768 and each image took a very long time to save, I think up to 15 seconds. As you can see I have sticked to Nikon, but I am not promoting the brand as better than everything else, I just happened to start using it and I have been very happy with all models mentioned so I have not seen any reason to switch. So this year (2012) means I have used digital for 14 years now, time flies...

I try to contribute with a few images and also vote and try to give feedback on Featured picture candidates. I do not nominate my own images that often (although it happens) because I know that I would oppose most of them myself :). I have been following FPC since April 2006.

I have also implemented the FPCBot which is closing and parking the FP candidates.

My SVG images are created with Inkscape or gnuplot.
