What should we do about the year change? The Bahraini, Yemeni, Syrian and Saudi Arabian protests are clearly continuing into 2012. Moving a category is probably a bad idea - about a zillion redirects would be created in the wikipedias. Do we start a new category for 2012? But the protest movements are clearly continuations of what started in 2010/2011. And making this category a subcategory of 2010-2012 Arab world protests risks continuing to a subcategory of 2010-2013 protests and 2010-2014 protests and so on...  Agree that the category should be moved. The redirect can be fixed, is not that much, since de category link is used only in the main articles about the protests. Cidcn (talk) 13:39, 29 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
