Ajax Waterfront Park[edit]

Thanks for using this photo. If you tell me what the issue is, I'll fix it and upload a new version. Because you edited a JPG file, the photo in the article is now of a lower quality. I can edited the original and maintain the quality. Thanks. Magnolia677 (talk) 23:01, 26 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello User:Magnolia677. I used this photo in Wikivoyage as the heading banner for the article on Ajax here. Banners are supposed to be in the proportions 7:1, so I cropped the picture using the Croptool. If you want to switch that for a better quality image in 7:1 ratio, that would be great. Thanks. When I try to upload a cropped file using the CropTool, I get this message: "Your IP address has been blocked automatically, because it was used by a blocked user." My IP address is User:67.230.130.196. I am not aware of any reason that I would be blocked. This is preventing me from creating page banners in Wikivoyage. Thank you. It's an issue with the CropTool. Multiple users are facing the same issue. -- CptViraj (talk) 15:32, 26 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Autopatroller[edit]

Have you considered applying for autopatroller rights here? You've about 2000 edits here, making it easier for patrollers. SHB2000 (talk) 10:03, 26 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@SHB2000: Thanks for the suggestion. I'll look into that when I get back to WiFi later in the week. BTW, I've had run-ins with the angry guy before. He seems to contribute only a little, but is always up for a barney. It's frustrating, but Illegitimi non carborundum. Regards, Ground Zero (talk) 19:43, 26 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I agree. But still hasn't learnt their lesson yet :( Cheers, SHB2000 (talk) 22:00, 26 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Autopatrol given[edit]

Hello. I just wanted to let you know that I have granted autopatrol rights to your account; the reason for this is that I believe you are sufficiently trustworthy and experienced to have your contributions automatically marked as "reviewed". This has no effect on your editing, it is simply intended to make it easier for users that are monitoring Recent changes or Recent uploads to find unproductive edits amidst the productive ones like yours. In addition, the Flickr upload feature and an increased number of batch-uploads in UploadWizard, uploading of freely licensed MP3 files, overwriting files uploaded by others and an increased limit for page renames per minute are now available to you. Thank you. rubin16 (talk) 13:37, 20 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Rubin16 and SHB2000: many thanks. Ground Zero (talk) 14:30, 20 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
