The Embassy of India in Cairo participated, on Saturday, in the Gouter Cultural Festival, organized by Al-Ahram Institution, in collaboration with Nisf Al-Donya magazine, under the slogan “One World, Different Cultures”, at Al-Baron Palace.
The festival aims to experience the unique and different taste of cultures from countries around the world, the Embassy of India, Cairo, would be showcasing various facets of Indian Culture by presenting some famous traditional Indian dishes and cultural performances. There would also be an exhibition of Indian handicrafts.
Earlier, Ambassador of India to Egypt, Ajit Gupte, appreciated the theme of the festival, as it resonates with the idea of “Unity in Diversity”, of which India is the best example and echoes India’s ancient and secular ethos.
