Mohammed El-Said is the Science Editor for the Daily News Egypt with over 8 years of experience as a journalist. His work appeared in Scientific American Arabic Edition, Al-Jazeera, SciDev.net and other international media outlets. El-Said graduated with a bachelor's degree in Geography, and an MSc in Human Geography from Mansoura University. He had also a diploma in media and literary translation from the American University in Cairo. El-Said won the Blue Peace Open Eye Award 2020, and the Cambridge Climate Lecture Series writing competition in 2018.
