About the library

Durham University Library provides an excellent range of collections, resources, and flexible study spaces across several library locations and online.

The Bill Bryson Library is a modern, award-winning building on the Mountjoy site housing a fantastic range of resources.

The Business School Library supports research and education in business and management.

The ISC Library provides support for the programmes delivered by the International Study Centre at Stockton-on-Tees.

The Barker Research Library, Palace Green holds Durham University's Archives and Special Collections, located in the historic Palace Green Library complex on Durham’s World Heritage Site.

Can I obtain items via inter-library loan? Yes - subject to the library's local lending policy. See their website for details. You must request an inter-library loan via a library of which you are a member. Talk to your own library staff for advice on ordering an item.
