Saskya Vandoorne is a senior field producer for CNN based in the network’s Paris bureau.

Vandoorne followed the 2017 French election and has covered the aftermath of major terror attacks in Paris, Nice, Manchester, Barcelona and Brussels.

Previously, Vandoorne was based in CNN’s New York offices where she produced for Richard Quest, CNN’s foremost international business correspondent and anchor of Quest Means Business. She was responsible for producing international news segments, securing exclusive interviews and original content for the show. She has field produced across the U.S, Latin America and Europe such as the International Monetary Fund meeting in Lima, Peru, and the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

Vandoorne first joined the network in 2012 as an assignment producer in CNN’s EMEA headquarters in London, specializing in breaking news.

Vandoorne earned a Bachelor’s degree in English and French at Durham University, and a Master’s degree in Broadcast Journalism at Columbia University in New York
