Interior minister, Saudi envoy discuss border traffic

Ammon News - Minister of Interior, Mazen Faraya, discussed Sunday with the Saudi Ambassador to Jordan, Nayef bin Bandar Al-Sudairy, bilateral cooperation prospects between the two brotherly countries, especially ways to facilitate passage of the two countries' citizens en route land and air crossings, in addition to means to enhance joint security and police cooperation.

Speaking during the talks with the Saudi envoy, Faraya lauded Saudi Arabia's continuous support to Jordan in various fields.

Faraya said this Saudi support comes within framework of the historic relations between the two countries, and their identical visions towards the various issues and challenges facing the Arab and Islamic nations.

For his part, Al-Sudairy said: "The two kingdoms' common destiny" calls for orchestrating efforts, especially in the security aspects and the expertise exchange to achieve security and stability in the two countries and the region.

The two sides agreed to maintain coordination and consultation, and activate the partnership relations between the two brotherly countries in various fields.
