Summary

Description
English: This French edition, authorized by Franklin, consists of letters translated by Francois Dalibard, who repeated the experiments of Philadelphia to show the electric nature of lightning. The Experiments and Observations on Electricity are the major scientific work of Franklin and one of the most important physics texts of the eighteenth century. The American physicist develops his theory of the unique fluid which enables him to prove, through his experiments on the Leyden bottle, lightning, lightning rods and the kite, the positive and negative nature of an electric charge, That the electrical current consists of induced charges. The folded board is, among others, the famous bottle of Leyden.
