Summary

Description
English: If a LinkedIn user accepts an invitation from another LinkedIn user, the two users are presumed to be connected by a first-level connection. The user is connected indirectly to that user's connections -- friends of friends -- which LinkedIn considers as a second-level connection, and so on. Source: Sandra Long of Post Road Consulting.
