English: Technigaz Mark III type LNG membrane inside an LNG carrier. Photograph taken during routine inspection in a docking period also shows the pump tower in the back side of the tank. The waffle/grid corrugations allow the 304L stainless steel tank liner to safely accommodate thermal expansion/contraction during the loading/unloading of cryogenic, liquified gas.[1][2]
