Kalaleh (Persian: كلاله, also Romanized as Kalāleh and Kalālah)[3] is a city in the Central District of Kalaleh County, Golestan province, Iran, serving as capital of both the county and the district.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 27,661 in 6,446 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 27,951 people in 7,306 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 36,176 people in 10,346 households.[2]
