Mohamed al-Atifi (Arabic: محمد ناصر العاطفي, romanizedMuḥammad Nāṣir al-ʻĀṭifī) is the Defence Minister of the Houthi government since 28 November 2016.[1]

Early life and education edit

Mohamed al-Atifi was born in 1969 in Al-Ahnum, then in Hajja Governorate but now in Amran Governorate. He received his basic and primary education in Hajja Governorate. He pursued his high education in Amran Governorate. He entered the Military College in Aden in 1986 and graduated with the rank of lieutenant in 1988.
