→‎The threat of populism: Added some important information where needed such as London School of Economics conference in 1967, and added a few extra caveats that further develop the points already made, such as Tyranny of the Majority or Fake News. Also changed the language of a few points as to not make it so matter of fact, in instances where it as anything but a matter of fact. This has helped take a bias out and provides a more reasoned approach. I have included a case study at the end.

Amended biased and uncited sentences under "Liberal Democracy in the world"; cited Lenin's argument that liberal democracy has been used to give an illusion of democracy. Removed unecessary in-text citation. Amended opening sentence describing liberal democracy as the predominant political system in the world to cite it and correct it. Expanded the subtopic "Minimises public violence" under "issues and criticisms". Corrected some style, punctuation and spelling mistakes

I have added the eight institutional guarantees in Dahl's Polyarchy to the rights and freedoms, to show the core universal rights in Liberal Democracies (e.g. the right to freedom of expression). I have also edited a paragraph in preconditions, I added a citation from Mudde and Rovira Kaltwasser to make a distinction between the loyal opposition and protecting political minorities, but show they are closely associated
