We have <code><nowiki>''...''</nowiki></code> for a reason. The {{tag|dd|o}} markup <code><nowiki>:</nowiki></code> should not be used for indentation; we have various templates for that, like {{tlx|blockindent}} and (for very short stuff}} {{tlx|in5}}. Talk pages are just a lost cause at this point, but the actual encyclopedia content should not be intentionally producing invalid markup.
