Wrong facts about BHUMIHARS.

Bhumihars are rulling caste in Bihar, Jharkhand and Purvanchal region of Uttar Pradesh. This caste is holding most of the lands in the area so some people always try to defame Bhumihar caste by spreading wrong and false things about BHUMIHARS. Bhumihars are pure Brahmin and they are good warriors and comes under martial race. Rakesh Kumar Vats (talk) 16:57, 3 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Oh, so you are here to promote the caste, Rakesh Kumar Vats! Sorry, Wikipedia is all about reliable and verifiable sources; articles are not based on original research (WP:OR)! Thanks. Ekdalian (talk) 07:26, 13 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

And don't refer book of any author please provide british official census report. In which census bhumihar considered as shudra in British census . Can you provide detail . 122.171.206.43 (talk) 08:53, 7 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please check reference # 20, Democracy against Development: Lower-Caste Politics and Political Modernity in Postcolonial India (University of Chicago Press) page 31; I checked once again, and it clearly says so! We usually avoid primary sources like Census, rather we prefer reliable sources referring to them. Ekdalian (talk) 10:46, 7 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
Since We are talking about British Census why can't we refer to the Primary Sources ? and yes i'Ve Read WP:RSPRIMARY but do care to Explain Cause I've Read multiple census Reports myself and didn't Find Mentioning This ? if I am Wrong Pls Care to Rectify me and this Article definately doesn't Seems Neutral or as per WP:NPOV Maybe You Should Rewrite Those Points. Why should I explain further when we have a typically reliable source mentioning the same, in accordance with our policies! Please mention in case there's any violation of our policies, but any user here with the objective of caste promotion would refuse to understand; read WP:SPA! Thanks. Could you please provide the authenticity of the below asked questions?
bhumihar are considered as shudra and in which census bhumihar placed in shudra category . As far as I have read the british official report, they have mentioned it as Bhumihar Brahmin. Ayush219 (talk) 19:54, 20 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
buddy, no point asking these highly educated folks about editing the article. Bhumihars page is overtaken by leftist group and their editors like sitush, kashmiri, ekdalian etc. Every source they have used is unreliable having manipulated info creating wrong perception about bhumihars. They think they gonna bring some sort of revolution in this digital age ,lol,. GRAI777 (talk) 14:02, 24 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

However, various studies and opinion of Hindu scholars state that Bhumihars are indeed a high priestly caste, they are Brahmins although it is not clear that where they might fall in, in the Brahmin group.

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. M.Bitton (talk) 15:24, 23 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Socio-economic condition

In 2023, Government of Bihar published the data of 2022 Bihar caste-based survey. The survey revealed several findings about the community. It showed that amongst the Forward Castes of Bihar, poverty was highest in Bhumihar caste. Out of total families of Bhumihars residing in state, 27.58% were poor ( The community totally numbered 8,38,447 families, out of which 2,31,211 families were poor). The criteria for determining poverty was a sum of 6,000 per month as family income.
This part is coming from current Census. Why you are proving only half information from Census, where are rest of the information about them. And also, saying census non-reliable in case of asked question - which census bhumihar considered as shudra in British census . Can you provide detail? Ayush219 (talk) 22:45, 20 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
