Restoring the content edit

Earlier in 2022, the article was heavily edited from the now-blocked IP address 119.73.112.164 (talk · contribs). Here is a sample where

Immediately after his election, Ali faced an armed insurrection led by Aisha (one of Muhammad's widows) and Talha and Zubayr (companions of Muhammad).[1] Hasan was sent to Kufa to rally support with Ammar ibn Yasir, and raised an army of 6,000 to 7,000 men.

was changed to

His election was opposed by Muhammad's widow Aisha, and Muhammad's companions Talha and Zubayr.[1] Hasan was sent to Kufa to rally support with Ammar ibn Yasir, and raised an army of 6,000 to 7,000 men.

which omits the key part, i.e., the rebellion. There are numerous similar edits from this IP address to the article and I'm hoping to undo them in the next few weeks. It would not be feasible to log every such edit with this level of detail, so I'd use the edit summary "Undoing the edits from the blocked IP address 119.73.112.164" for the sake of convenience. PS. While doing this, I also plan to copy-edit and make other reasonable edits to the article. Albertatiran (talk) 19:52, 1 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

PPS. Having looked at the revision history a bit more carefully, I was wrong that this IP editor "heavily edited" the article. Still, I'm hoping to improve the article in the coming days. Albertatiran (talk) 12:59, 4 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
