Players with over 50 Caps?

Hi, to reduce duplication, recentism and maintenance I suggest changing this list to list of players with 50 or more caps and having a link from the main Wales article to replace the section 'other players with 50 or more caps' on the main article. Hi this list should either be headed most capped footballers (Men's) or the list needs to include the caps of the players FA Wales Women's team, several of the member's of the current fa wales teams (male and female) have taken issue in the last few days to this 'problem' jasperxp 23:51, 19 March 2017 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jasperxp (talk • contribs)

Until the wider media starts referring to the Wales national football team specifically as the Wales men's national football team, I think the article should stay where it is. – PeeJay 10:57, 20 March 2017 (UTC)

Merge

I've proposed this be merged with List of Wales international footballers (alphabetical) = both are about the same thing, but this list concentrates on the most-capped players, while the other includes all players but is nearly ten years out of date. Perhaps this article could have a section listing all plyers with fewer than 25 caps? Sophie means wisdom (talk) 17:49, 20 June 2021 (UTC)

The most common format is to split these articles by number of caps, for example 25+, 10-25, 1-10, and this list follows that. The alphabetical list really needs gutting into these separate lists as it's far too unwieldy, but it's a task I haven't got around to doing. Kosack (talk) 17:51, 20 June 2021 (UTC)

As the List of Wales international footballers (alphabetical) is now a decade out of date, it is evidently impossible to maintain, and there is no reliable information. Hence, I've redirected; interested readers can always use Category:Wales international footballers, which is in alphabetical order! Klbrain (talk) 05:13, 13 September 2022 (UTC)
