Status: Incomplete. Translation needs checking.
Other notes: English translation is NOW complete. Also, I don't know Dutch very well, so I would appreciate someone checking my translation.

I'm not totally sure about this, but it's my understanding that Ometepe is the tenth largest freshwater island in the world. I got the information from the website: http://www.worldislandinfo.com/MISINFORMATION.htm If this information is correct, shouldn't it be mentioned in the article? This volcano has been erupting intermittently over the past few years. Although minor in comparison to the last major eruption in 1957. The eruptions are mostly gas and ash and do not cause any major damage.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.148.141.31 (talk) 23:03, 5 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
