Please change: edit

..the article presently says "Hebron, Israel".

Not even the Israeli government says that Hebron is in Israel: please remove "Israel", Huldra (talk) 22:19, 16 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

  • Comment Support the above request, Hebron is a Palestinian city and is listed as such in its article. This is supported by several sources. Cheers.---Wikaviani (talk) (contribs) 21:04, 17 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

False claim that Jerusalem is "in Israel" edit

Jeppiz, in this edit:[1] you added that the disputed and occupied city of Jerusalem is "in Israel", at the same time you claimed "Rv relentless POV pushing" , could you please explain yourself ? The vast majority of the international community does not recognize Israeli sovereignty over Jerusalem, so how can my edit be "Rv relentless POV pushing"? And how is your edit neutral ? --Supreme Deliciousness (talk) 05:31, 18 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

He was born in 1961, he was of course born within the Green Line.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 2a00:23c7:c081:8000:81e6:e482:882c:b5fa (talk)

Yossi Cohen is no longer the director of Mossad as of today (1 of June 2021).

The article should be updated accordingly. The Flashback (talk) 17:59, 1 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

He was Succeeded by David Barnea on 1 June as Director of Mossad, not as National Security Advisor (Israel), who was Eytan Ben-David. 119.203.217.16 (talk) 20:12, 11 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Partly done: Thank you for noticing the discrepancy - I mistakenly inserted Barnea into the wrong successor variable for the infobox. I've moved it up to the Director of Mossad position. I am having trouble finding a source for Eytan Ben-David (even his wikipedia article appears to lack sources for the change in position), do you happen to have one? If so, I'll update that part of the infobox as well. Thank you.  A S U K I T E  21:34, 13 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Asukite: Cohen was succeeded by Yaakov Nagel (Acting) and Eytan Ben-David as the 10th National Security Advisor. source

The section on “Family” states that Cohen is a “Masorti” Jew. This links to a page about “Masortim”, or traditional Jews in Israel. However, the term “Masorti” is widely used in English-language discussions of Judaism to refer to a specific movement (sometimes called Conservative Judaism). Cohen does not belong to this movement (and there is no such suggestion in the reference source article, on the contrary, the article suggests that he is traditional). Therefore, a better term would be: “Cohen is a traditional Jew”, with the words “traditional Jew” linking to the same article about “Masortim”. 176.12.183.109 (talk) 05:05, 14 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
