Category edit

Why does this template put articles in Category:All articles with unsourced statements?

Is this template has a specific purpose beyond what it says, this purpose should be explained on the documentation page. For all I know, people are probably using it (maybe via the redirect {{how many}}) to mark a vague quantifier that needs to be made more specific. Often, either this has nothing to do with sourcing or the vagueness is taken directly from a source that has been cited. -- Smjg (talk) 21:59, 12 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

I agree. --Kevjonesin (talk) 16:16, 1 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Should this template (Quantify) have its own page to direct to rather than going to MOS:NUM? edit

'New_template_thread' has some relevant discussion.

I'd like to have something clear and concise that would cover a range of cases where enumeration is needed. Either free standing or as a new subsection (with shortcuts and template links) for MOS:NUM. I'm leaning towards free standing to avoid distraction/annoyance while making a simple point. --Kevjonesin (talk) 16:19, 1 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Kevjonesin, I'd settle for a basic explanation of what the purpose of this template is, when it's supposed to be used, examples, etc.! I don't think I understand this template at all. ☹ HZ4w0uYd{©hat} 01:12, 5 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

often edit

Proposing template:how often be absorbed. Speaks to large quantities of unknown amount like HowMuch/HowMany. ScratchMarshall (talk) 05:19, 10 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

few edit

Proposing a redirect of template:how few as a quantity tagger inverse of large ones. ScratchMarshall (talk) 05:19, 10 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
