Analysis

The evidence is interesting but not extremely strong for a match.

On the upside, there are overlaps, and some of the overlapping articles are EPN's favorites (eg. Economy of Nazi Germany, Themes in Nazi propaganda). The account name itself seems very EPN-like.

On the downside, the editor has been here since 2016 (but with only 503 edits [16]), and seems focused more on fascism in general, especially the economic aspects, than in Nazism in particular. (Main articles edited: Economics of fascism, Fascism and ideology, Economy of Nazi Germany, Economy of Italy under Fascism, Bavarian Soviet Republic, Italian Fascism, Comparison of Nazism and Stalinism, National Socialist People's Welfare, and Fascism). Also on the downside, very few talk page edits; the EPN socks I've come across aren't shy about expressing their views on talk pages.

HenryGarden1000 also has no focus on the racial aspects of Nazism, or on Poland -- two subject areas that EPN seems interested in. In addition, there is not overlap whatever with two of the major EPN accounts, including the master itself.

An analysis of the Time Cards of HenryGarden1000 and EPN's latest sock at the time of this writing (Abdul Akter) -- HenryGarden1000 and Abdul Akter -- shows very little similarity.

I'd say that there's no compelling reason to think that HG1000 is EPN, although it's worth keeping an eye on the account.


But is HenryGarden1000 someone else?

It's interesting to note that the user Soapbox Sam answered a question on HG1000's talk page, saying that HG1000 is a "colleague and a historian". HG1000 never responded. [17]

The overlap between these two accounts - HenryGarden1000 and Soapbax Sam - is extensive: 22 articles overlap, when SS has only 304 edits, and HG1000 only 503. It seems worth looking into this relationship more deeply.

Note that although, according to Soapbox Sam, HG1000 is a historian, he apparently doesn't know that there is no comma used in DMY dates. [18]

A look at the Time Cards of the two editors -- Soapbox Sam and HenryGarden1000 indicates that while they probably edit from the same time zone, the days and times of editing are not alike enough to be relevant evidence.
