Who is "Bloksma"?

"Bloksma" is my artist name, as a tribute to my grandfather Romke J. Bloksma, in his time a well known city historian in Meppel. I consider myself to be his successor.

My fields of interest

I am a physicist, mathematician, chemist and computer scientist. My passion is linguistics. And I am also still practising the graphic arts.

My family tree

My ancestors of the Egbers side come from Dutch-German border, the Bloksma are from the province of Fryslân (Friesland).
