Carlos was born on December 29, 1987 in Miami, Flordia to Nicaraguan parents escaping civil war in their home country. After many years of living abroad, Carlos, his brother Nicolás, and his parents moved back to their native land. Carlos was enrolled in the American Nicaraguan School at the age of six where he studied up until graduation in 2006. During those twelve years he witnessed the stabilizing presidency of Violeta Chamorro who ended the rule of the revolutionary FSLN, the infamous presidency of PLC leader Arnoldo Alemán, and the split of the PLC into two separate parties under Enrique Bolaños and his anti-corruption campaign. The split of the liberal party ended in the creation of the ALN, which took roughly half of the traditional right wing voters away from the PLC, ultimately leading to the recent election of FSLN leader Daniel Ortega with 37.99% of the vote in November 2006.

Political Ideology edit

Carlos is a self-proclaimed Chomskyist, thereby following the political stance of renowned intellectual Noam Chomsky. He is known for indulging in precarious amounts of alcoholic beverages and thus claiming to be a hardcore Marxist threatening that if he every entered a position of power he would revoke freedom of speech and private property establishing a totalitarian state similar to the Soviet Union, however he has frequently denied these allegations when sober.
