Hoshie

Hoshie (born 1980 in Wilmington, North Carolina) is a Wikipedian currently living in Havelock, North Carolina.

Over the years, he has lived in various places such as Norfolk, Virginia, Houston, Texas, Burgaw, North Carolina, Jacksonville, North Carolina, and Kailua, Hawaii. Joshua is a graduate of Lejeune High School.

In his spare time, he likes to use computers (he currently owns an MP3 player Apple's iPod nano), a laptop (Dell's Studio 1555), an E-reader (Barnes & Noble's Nook Simple Touch), a tablet (Apple's iPad 2), a smartphone (Apple's iPhone 5s). Joshua also likes reading. His favorite reads are politics, history, and religion. He also likes listening to music. Favorite artists include (but are not limited to) Madonna, Gloria Estefan, Jewel, Alanis Morissette, Moby, Elton John, Sarah McLachlan, Randy Travis, Hootie & The Blowfish, Marvin Gaye, and Semisonic. Joshua also collects coins. His collection includes all of the Statehood and DC-territories quarters, a collection of 20^th and 21^st century type coins, most of the Presidential dollar coins, a few proof sets, some commemorative coins, and a collection of foreign coins (including various British and Commonwealth issues).

Joshua's goals as a Wikipedian are to write and edit quality and informative articles on history (mainly US History), geography (with a focus on dependencies) religion (Christianity, mostly with a focus on English Bible versions), politics (mainly US, UK, and NC politics), and Coin collecting (with a focus on US coins).
