My name is Lauren Maggio and I am an associate professor of medicine at Uniformed Services University . I am also the associate director of distributed learning and technology for our graduate programs in Health Professions Education.
As a researcher with a background in medical education and information science, I am interested in exploring how to effectively connect health professionals, trainees, and patients with information through the design of educational initiatives and by facilitating access to knowledge for public and professional use.
