Contributing Mostly about the Filipino Indie scene edit
I think I've tried to contribute several times to Wikipedia but never got around it until Nityalila asked me how to get a posting here. At the back of my mind, I knew that if you're already being covered by MSM in the Philippines (in actual paper and online) then I think you should already have a Wikipedia Entry. There are a lot of Filipino Indie artistes and bands that already have newspaper coverage in the Philippines, Asia and even in North America so I think it's about time for more people to post Wikipedia articles about them.

It's probably going to require a lot of work but I think it's good to start something. I'm thinking that if I start and article and tell the artiste or the band that they already have a wikipedia article that they will take ownership on it and start maintaining the article and keep it updated. I'm in the belief that artistes/bands are ultimately responsible for their web presence - I hope that the contributions here will spur them and preclude them from giving any excuse for the lack of articles about them.
