UMFK Esja is an Icelandic ice hockey team based in Reykjavík. They are members of the Icelandic Hockey League and play their home games at the Laugardalur Arena. UMFK Esja was founded in 2014 and joined the Icelandic Hockey League the same year. The team's best result was in the 2016-17 season where they won both the regular season and the playoffs. UMFK Esja have also competed at the IIHF Continental Cup, entering the first round of the 2017–18 tournament.
