Due to persistent vandalism, anonymous editing from your school, library, or educational institution's IP address may be blocked (disabled). You will continue to have access to read the encyclopedia. If you are logged in but still unable to edit, please follow these instructions. To prevent abuse, account creation via this IP address might also be disabled.
If account creation is disabled and you are unable to create an account elsewhere, you can request one by following the instructions at Wikipedia:Request an account. Please check on this list that the username you choose has not already been taken. Welcome!
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions.
Currently, you are editing without a username. You can continue to do so, as you are not required to log in to Wikipedia to read and edit articles; however, logging in will result in a username being shown instead of your IP address (yours is 216.165.95.64). Logging in does not require any personal details. There are many other benefits for logging in to Wikipedia. For now, if you are stuck, you can type {{helpme}} on this page and an experienced Wikipedian will be around to answer any questions you may have.
Please note these points:
The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, ask me on my Talk page. I will answer your questions as far as I can! Thank you again for contributing to Wikipedia. ≈ jossi ≈ (talk) 16:46, 4 October 2007 (UTC)

Welcome, and thank you for your attempt to lighten up Wikipedia. This is frustrating. I need to look something up for a class and cannot access Wikipedia from the computer lab to do so. I see you suggested above to create an account from home, however I do not have a computer and rely on campus labs. This is NYU's computer lab, used by many. Thanks
Decline reason:
We allow blocked users read-only access to every single one of our articles. There's no reason to be unblocked to look something up. If you click on a link and get a "blocked" message, it is because you attempted to view an article which does not exist and Wikipedia thinks you are trying to create the article. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Sailing has been reverted. Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): rule: '\bblogspot\.com' . If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, or similar site, then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Your submission at Articles for creation: Donald F. Donovan (April 24)
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by SwisterTwister was:
This submission's references do not adequately show the subject's notability. Wikipedia requires significant coverage about the subject in reliable sources that are independent of the subject—see the guidelines on the notability of people and the golden rule. Please improve the submission's referencing (see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners), so that the information is verifiable, and there is clear evidence of why the subject is notable and worthy of inclusion in an encyclopedia. If additional reliable sources cannot be found for the subject, then it may not be suitable for Wikipedia at this time.
The comment the reviewer left was:
Still questionable for several applicable notabilities including WP:PROF (professorship) and none of this yet suggests the necessary solid independent notability for his own article. It may be too soon as I'm not confident any improvements would help.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.SwisterTwister talk 05:14, 24 April 2016 (UTC)

If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. KNHaw (talk) 21:46, 4 May 2017 (UTC)
If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, as you did at Tom Reed (politician), you may be blocked from editing. KNHaw (talk) 21:46, 4 May 2017 (UTC)

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by inserting commentary or your personal analysis into an article, as you did at Lee Zeldin. KNHaw(talk) 21:48, 4 May 2017 (UTC)

You are welcome to continue editing without logging in, but many editors recommend that you create an account. Doing so is free, requires no personal information, and provides several benefits such as the ability to create articles. For a full outline and explanation of the benefits that come with creating an account, please see this page. If you edit without a username, your IP address (216.165.95.64) is used to identify you instead.
In any case, I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your comments on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your IP address (or username if you're logged in) and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place

before the question on this page. Again, welcome! KNHaw (talk) 22:31, 4 May 2017 (UTC)
Thank you very much for changing the language of your edits. I know this is an emotional issue, but using neutral language and backing up your observations with solid facts is the best way to accurately convey your concerns. You will find that your edits will stand out and be less likely to be challenged or reverted when you follow these guidelines.
If you have any questions about editing Wikipedia, feel free to ask me at my talk page, below.

About the American Health Care Act
Please STOP making that addition about the AHCA to the articles of congresspeople. According to a discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Politics/American politics#Does one consequence of a bill belong in the article of every politician that voted for the bill?, that second sentence ("scraps protections for people with pre-existing conditions") is non-neutral and should not be used. Do not add it again, and if possible remove it from the articles you already added it to. --MelanieN (talk) 01:06, 6 May 2017 (UTC)

Hello, I'm XLinkBot. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to Economic policy of Donald Trump have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links.
Your edit here to Economic policy of Donald Trump was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NBRrCY5uhWY) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy, as well as other parts of our external links guideline. If the information you linked to is indeed in violation of copyright, then such information should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file, or consider linking to the original.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 20:12, 16 August 2017 (UTC)
