Factoid about Florida edit

Hello. What you put was interesting and true but it lacked a reference which is why someone reverted it. I have reintroduced it, with a reliable reference. If you need help adding references, take a look at WP:CITE. Ifnord (talk) 19:24, 29 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Sources for personal bests edit

Hi! I added a source in Shamier Little. I presume that all other Diamond League competitors have a similar page as https://doha.diamondleague.com/athletes/14443767.html. Just as a tip for where you can find sources for your edits. Sjö (talk) 09:37, 29 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

Welcome! edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!

Someone using this IP address, 72.174.131.123, has made edits which do not conform to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may be removed if they have not already been. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles. Additionally, all new biographies of living people must contain at least one reliable source.

If you did not make this change, you may wish to consider getting a username to avoid confusion with other editors. Logging in is not mandatory to read or edit pages on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free, requires no personal information, and has many benefits. Without a username, your IP address is used to identify you.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to the Help desk, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have!

Some other good links for newcomers are:

Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and a timestamp. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, visit the Teahouse, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions.

Hi IP, looking at some of the warnings and your edits, it appears the issue is largely you do not cite sources. I suggest this guide using WP:Visual Editor rather than the one linked above. To me it is easy and the method I use as it automatically formats most URLs (including links to Google Books). I also saw a couple article requests you made at WayMaQueen's talk page so see my responses there. S0091 (talk) 16:13, 1 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
Sources are cited, where cited. Besides, we were having a discussion on a user Talk page, so no real need to be pedantic. 72.174.131.123 (talk) 10:07, 3 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

March 2024 edit

Hello, I'm FPTI. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Fire hydrant, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. FPTI (talk) 06:22, 19 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

April 2024 edit

Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. GoneIn60 (talk) 00:54, 15 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
