Welcome to Wikipedia. There was no citation and the author has no article and their own website is not a reliable source as you should know because you read the policies the first time you were warned. Are you Denise Grover Swank or a family member? If so, you should read our conflict of interest policy in addition to the policies already linked when you were warned about sourcing. As stated repeatedly it doesn’t matter how long the article has been the way. Your edits have been reverted by three different editors so maybe pause and read up first before complaining. @Bkproz Welcome! I’ve left you message with some optional (but helpful) reading about editing on Wikipedia. If you want to add someone to a list of notable people they should ideally have an article about them. However, if you are able to find a WP:Reliable source that demonstrates WP:Notability and the connection to Kahokia you can add it as an inline citation or you can ask for help doing so at Talk:Kahoka, Missouri. Cerner edit

Hi there, Zane Burke left Cerner Wikipedia page back in November, but he is still listed on the sidebar under "Key People" on the Wiki page. Could you please remove him? Here is a link to the GlobeNewswire release announcing his decision to step down.

There is also a typo on the last sentence of the intro paragraph – "it's" should be "its".

Discussions of interest

• Two elements of CSD G6 have been split into their own criteria: R4 for redirects in the "File:" namespace with the same name as a file or redirect at Wikimedia Commons (Discussion), and G14 for disambiguation pages which disambiguate zero pages, or have "(disambiguation)" in the title but disambiguate a single page (Discussion).
• {{db-blankdraft}} was merged into G13 (Discussion)
• A discussion recently closed with no consensus on whether to create a subject-specific notability guideline for theatrical plays.
• There is an ongoing discussion on a proposal to create subject-specific notability guidelines for chemicals and organism taxa.

Reminders

• NPR is not a binary keep / delete process. In many cases a redirect may be appropriate. The deletion policy and its associated guideline clearly emphasise that not all unsuitable articles must be deleted. Redirects are not contentious. See a classic example of the templates to use. More templates are listed at the R template index. Reviewers who are not aware, do please take this into consideration before PROD, CSD, and especially AfD because not even all admins are aware of such policies, and many NAC do not have a full knowledge of them.

Hey there Smuckola! I was hoping you might want to collaborate after reading that Kansas City workhouse article—Right up my alley, and I had no idea it existed. Long-term my wiki goal is to get St. Louis, Columbia, and Kansas City up to FA-status, then tackling Missouri itself. On a smaller scale I’d really like to do an article on the 8th Street Tunnel/Streetcars to KCK in general, create UMKC conservatory of Music, improve the downtown article, FL the list of tallest buildings, improve Kansas City Jazz, I’m sure I’m forgetting some. The other big project, and I’ve seen you’re on this, is properly tagging all KC related article and assessing. Alas, I have not yet devoted as much time here as Stl and Como. My KC history knowledge is rough, but improving, although most people would probably say I’m a certified geek about it. I’m glad in general to see another active content creator around Missouri topics; there is certainly no shortage of work to be done. @Grey Wanderer and Voidxor: Hi guys, I just started Wheatley-Provident Hospital because I was driving all around the city workhouse castle area, and stumbled upon this building three blocks away. So I went on that tangent. I've done massive total rewrites of several articles like the castle, and I've started some minor articles on famous subjects, but this is my first more publicly visible and permanently useful new one. The KC streetcars just got $50m in federal funding so there'll be more news, and yeah I hope to crawl 18th and Vine along the way to jazz history. ;) I even want to write the history of Worlds of Fun. Also, personally, we are painting an actual mural on a 49 foot wide wall in KC. I could see maybe possibly doing a list of all murals in KC and I wonder if anyone's done that for a metro. We already have a list of fountains. I hope you've been having fun lately. You are doing it wrong

when you have a problem with a navbox being placed on an article. Fine. You are supposed to remove it on The template if you had an valid reason. Or just delete the whole navbox all by discussion in consensus. In your case you have an issue your baby project is Missouri. I get that. If the link is still in navbox then it should stay. Also Wikipedia and the navbox made it quite clear what the source was. Nowhere is it saying that it is connected to the great Lakes. It is saying that is indeed part of a commonly defined megaregion that one source that the navbox defined it as part of. Jhenderson ⁷⁷⁷ 22:38, 31 July 2020 (UTC)

Please don’t take it personally, Jhenderson777, I also learned the hard way to be very selective about navboxes. Given the already crowded navbox landscape topics should be very closely related and in addition geographic areas should be well-defined and not speculative imo. I know you mean well so I figured you deserved a personal reason, in addition to the one I gave at Wikipedia:Templates for discussion/Log/2020 July 31. Pipe term

Since the problem seems to be the name of the article that is the main topic. What about a different name title while linking to an article? Examples include “cities near the Great Lakes along the Saint Lawrence River”. I need a smaller title but you get what I mean...I am trying to compromise to a more accurate geographic term to make a navbox on urban areas. I still feel that US and US borders cities that were tied to one source can belong on a navbox on helping navigate readers fluently. Jhenderson ⁷⁷⁷ 15:44, 1 August 2020 (UTC)

The title for me is less of a problem than how useful in navigation the box would be. Given the obscurity and vagueness of the subject I just don’t think many visitors would use such a box, especially with how many others there are. Boshwash is for sure widely known, idk about those others, Chi-Burgh doesn’t meat my personal criteria of either being a U.S Census defined region, particularly well-known, or at least a contiguous urban environment when talking about cities. Thanks!! I am studying under the alternative energy program at Crowder College. At the very least, it would probably be good to create an article for the MARET Center. But, I have been considering creating an article called "Alternative Energy Education at Crowder College" and having a MARET Center section under that. Very interesting program, forward looking. Before creating a stand alone article I would suggest expanding the Crowder College article itself. Compare it’s length to other colleges, it could be ten times larger than it currently is without being too long. I am going to link you some Wikipedia basics on your talk page which could answer a lot of questions for you. If you do really want a stand alone article, there must be third-party reliable sources that demonstrate WP:Notability. I think sustainable energy is a good link for alternative energy, they do seem to essentially mean the same thing. I would caution you about forming a WikiProject, unless you think there are many other editors interested in the subject. I often kick myself for forming separate Columbia and Mizzou projects because there is so much overlap and they require a lot of work to keep active. Columbia-related GAR

Grey Wanderer, I've recently sent an older GA to a good article reassessment at Talk:Slackers CDs and Games/GA2. It's for a video game retailer founded in Columbia, but the article hasn't been significantly updated since 2009. Gov. Daniel Dunklin's Grave State Historic Site

Haven't ever been there (went to Mastodon, but didn't have time to take the further trip there), but went ahead and expanded it. There doesn't seem to be much that can be said about a 1.37-acre historic site that's just a cemetery overlooking the Mississippi, but thought I'd ask if you were familiar with anything else that could be added. I tried to dredge the internet for about all I could find in RS, but it still came up pretty thin. I think it says something that my old MO State Parks Centennial book from 2016 or so devotes three sentences to the site, and two of them are mainly about Gov. Dunklin himself. Dear Grey Wanderer, I see you've been saying in recent edit summaries that you're vigilant in reverting this user as described in WP:DENY or WP:SOCKPUPPET, and mentioning checkuser. I have seen such edits lately on Kansas City, Missouri, Johnson County, Kansas, and Kansas City metropolitan area. I just wanted to verify that you've been actually submitting checkuser requests to verify all these recent IP edits, so that I can help revert them. And I want to remind you to do that stuff and let admins handle it, instead of being trolled afoul of WP:3RR which swings both ways. The user's page has no link to the sockpuppet case but I found this via google here which doesn't have any further records. Are you able to keep those up now, so I can maybe help with the reverts? I don't know the procedure and interface for sockpuppets, or if I'm just supposed to make a new entry at WP:SPI. Thanks a lot. I don't see any intention to mislead, either. I think what annoyed me the most were your IP's edits to WP:AN, the fact that after you refactored your comment and I reverted you, you did the same thing again 7 minutes later, which I also reverted. It's true that on the article Talk page you signed the IP's edit with your username right after, but the edits at AN were not like that. You posted a comment with your username and then edited that comment twice after. Generally, you should never edit project space without logging in because it appears like an attempt to avoid scrutiny, even if it is not. Anyway, I don't think you need to fret about my warning here...I'm satisfied that everything you did was in good faith... just be a little more careful.--Bbb23 (talk) 20:44, 1 February 2023 (UTC)
