Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Rajendra Stadium, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Siwan. Speedy deletion nomination of Dewas Gate Stand edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Dewas Gate Stand requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.   Greetings. At least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to Swami Vivekananda statue (Golpark, Kolkata), did not appear to be constructive and has been or will be reverted or removed. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Speedy deletion nomination of Cochin Refineries Limited Ground edit

Hello Jaywardhan009,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Cochin Refineries Limited Ground for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Josu4u (talk) 18:28, 6 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Red links on names edit

When you add wikilcnks to names you need to check where they go to. Red links are discouraged. For example, at Kent Women's Cricket Team you'd like d name to that of an American author. I've corrected that one. It's now up to YOU to go and correct all the other ones you've created - there are at least two errors on the Middlesex Women's Cricket Team page and, frankly, I can't be bothered to correct them all. Deal with it please. Blue Square Thing (talk) 19:18, 9 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Non-free image use edit

Hi Jaywardhan009. File:Flag of the Bharatiya Janata Party.png is a non-free image which means that each usage of it on Wikipedia must satisfy all 10 of the non-free content criteria listed at WP:NFCCP. The files usage in List of political parties in India does not satisfy WP:NFCC#8 (because of WP:NFLISTS and WP:NFTABLES) and WP:NFCC#10c which is why it has been removed from the article. The file can be linked to using the colon trick if that's what the consensus is to do, but it cannot be displayed. If you'd like the further clarification on this, please feel free to ask for help at WP:MCQ or WT:NFCC. The editors who typically respond to questions posted on those pages are very familiar with Wikipedia's policy regarding copyrights and it applies to non-free content and they will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have. -- Marchjuly (talk) 13:04, 24 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I have had to clean up some recent categorisations that you have done on Indian politician articles. For example, we should not categorise someone as a Marathi politician unless we can actually verify that they are ethnically Marathi (which almost always we cannot). Similarly, categorising people at Maharashtra politicians is almost always wrong because they are usually already in categories such as Lok Sabha members from Maharashtra or Members of the Maharashtra Legislature - see WP:OVERCAT. - Sitush (talk) 03:43, 15 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Overcategorising edit

Hi, you seem to have been doing a lot of stuff like this. Are you familiar with WP:OVERCAT? We're going to have to remove a fair amount of what you have added recently, eg: in that particular example we should not be showing Category:Bharatiya Janata Party politicians because Category:Bharatiya Janata Party politicians from Odisha is a subcategory and thus already a part of it. Asian 10,000 Challenge invite edit

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 04:54, 20 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Invitation from Wikipedia Asian Month 2016 edit

Thanks for partipating Wikipedia Asian Month last year, and I hope you enjoy it. Last year, more than 7,000 articles contribute to Wikipedia in 43 languages in Wikipedia Asian Month, making us one of the largest event on Wikipedia. We will organize this event again in upcoming November, and would like to invite you join us again.

This year, we are lowering down the standards that you only need to create 4 (Four) articles to receive a postcard (new design), and articles only need to be more than 3,000 bytes and 300 words. We are also improving our postcard sending process, e.g. making the postcards right now, and collecting the address after the event ends without waiting other languges.

Wikipedians who create the most articles on each Wikipedia will be honored as "Wikipedia Asian Ambassadors". We will send you both digital copy, and a paper copy of the Ambassador certificate.

Thank you for considering! --AddisWang (talk)

Speedy deletion nomination of Nijanur Rahman edit

Hello Jaywardhan009,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Nijanur Rahman for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

What actually happened widely reported by local and national indian press is that her former supporters refused to allow her to leave the prison for the first two days. Your contributed article, T.M. Lotha edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, T.M. Lotha. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – T M Lotha. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at T M Lotha – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Exemplo347 (talk) 10:15, 1 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Many of your recent articles on Indian railway stations and passenger services quote only www.indiarailinfo.com, which is a user generated website and hence cannot accepted as reliable source. Also please do mind the guidelines on MOS:DASH while naming and editing article. Please avoid adding list of trains/passenger services in station articles as it amounts to being a directory, instead try wikivoyage. --βα£α(ᶀᶅᶖᵵᵶ) 07:03, 7 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Move on Bangalore City railway station edit

Hi Jaywardhan009, just wanted to let you know that I've reverted the move you did on Bangalore City railway station. I think it would be better if you proposed a move on the talk page first in order to get a broader opinion. Thanks, MikeLynch (talk) 13:37, 24 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

June 2017 edit

Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow, or move it unilaterally against naming conventions or consensus, as you did to Sri Ganganagar – Tiruchirappalli Humsafar Express. This includes making page moves while a discussion remains under way. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. I see that you have moved a lot of pages pertaining to Indian Railways especially without ant edit summary or justification even in content of relevant article/pages. Have you at anytime read about WP:ARTICLETITLE or MOS:DASH? Because, you have completely went against the existing guidelines and regulations in English Wikipedia neither you consulted any experienced editor nor asking at concerned Wikiproject or atleast at Tea House. There is hardly no edit summary or justification for your page moves even in content of article. βα£α(ᶀᶅᶖᵵᵶ) 12:10, 30 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Nowell Khosla edit

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Category:Haryana MLAs 2019–24 edit

Category:Haryana MLAs 2019–24 has been nominated for speedy merging to Category:Haryana MLAs 2019–, as we do not use future end dates on categories for legislators.

In any case, it would otherwise have been 2019–2024 (full years, not just –24) following others in Category:21st-century state legislators of Indian States.

Please use the WP:Categories for discussion process to name proposals to rename categories. It allows other editors to cast an eye over your proposals, and saves you moving all the members one by one. – Fayenatic London 12:12, 11 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Problem with your custom signature edit

You have a custom signature set in your account preferences. A change to Wikipedia's software has made your current custom signature incompatible with the software.

The problem: Your preferences are set to interpret your custom signature as wikitext. However, your current custom signature does not contain any wikitext.

The solutions: You can reset your signature to the default, or you can fix your signature.

Solution 1: Reset your signature to the default:
  1. Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
  2. Uncheck the box (☑︎→☐) that says "Treat the above as wiki markup."
  3. Remove anything in the Signature: text box. (It might already be empty.)
  4. Click the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the page. (The red "Restore all default settings" button will reset all of your preference settings, not just the signature.)
Solution 2: Fix your custom signature:
  1. Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
  2. Uncheck the box (☑︎→☐) that says "Treat the above as wiki markup."
  3. Click the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the page.

More information about custom signatures is available at Wikipedia:Signatures#Customizing how everyone sees your signature. If you have followed these instructions and still want help, please leave a message at Wikipedia talk:Signatures. 19:04, 3 September 2020 (UTC)

Chandrawati's son Vishvas Sarang? edit

You edited the Chandrawati page to include that her son is Vishvas Sarang. This change was unsourced, and seems pretty unlikely, as Vishvas's father Kailash Sarang also died just a few days ago and there's no mention of Chandrawati being his wife or any mention of any Sarang family members in Chandrawati's obituaries. Can you provide a source for that addition? As an aside, an Spanish IP also added the birth date 8 January to Chandrawati's page, without any source. I tried to find one but it looks like no sources mention her birthdate. Should be removed, imo. Regards, TryKid[dubiousdiscuss] 16:50, 19 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Aatish Bhalaik edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
