Poetic Justice (soundtrack)

Hi L to the K. When you WP:SPLIT or WP:MERGE content from one article like Poetic Justice (film) to one like Poetic Justice (soundtrack) for whatever reason, please check to make sure that you're not also moving any non-free files which were being used in the original article. All non-free files are required to have separate specific non-free use rationales for each use; so, when you move files like you did, then the rationale also needs to be correspondingly changed to avoid problems like this. I caught this and re-added the file to the infobox, but non-free files which aren't being used in any articles can be speedily deleted per WP:F5 after five days. -- Marchjuly (talk) 00:37, 7 February 2020 (UTC)

Formatting on album articles you create

Hi. Several things about album articles you've been making since becoming a registered user: please stop using small text in infoboxes per MOS:SMALLTEXT. This makes it harder to read when the text size in the infobox is already decreased from the normal size. Please also stop using hlists to list producers per Template:Infobox album. We should list each separate person or item in the infobox with a bullet point. Also, per Template:Infobox album#type, you do not need to type [[Studio album]] or [[Mixtape]] with brackets for the type. Please use "studio" or "mixtape", depending on what it is. You should also be tagging your articles with a template stub like Template:2020s-hiphop-album-stub, and maybe look into uploading an album cover once in a while. no wp:self published source

Per the discussion at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Albums/Archive_46#Piero_Scaruffi_-_Final_Verdict_on_using_him_as_a_source_in_reviews there's a very clear consensus here that Scaruffi is not to be used as a source in music/album articles in any capacity. So please, do not add his opinions anymore. It is a wp:self published source. Since this is a long running dispute, any contributor warned by the situation and who doesn't respect it, would encounter sanctions and could be blocked from editing. Thanks. Your album articles

Hi L to the K, I hope you're well. First off, thank your for all the hard work you do on here - I've seen your regular edits to album articles. However, I've noticed that some of the album articles you create do not quite meet the requirements set out at WP:NALBUM. Per that guideline, album articles should have more than just an intro and track listing, even if they are notable: "Album articles with little more than a track listing may be more appropriately merged into the artist's main article or discography article". Please try and add more content in prose form to articles you create in future, as those you've created tend to not have much content, aside from a lead-in paragraph, ratings, track listing. Otherwise you risk your articles of being deleted or redirected. I was very tempted to redirect Dr. Ev4l, but I don't want your hard work to go to waste, so please kindly keep the above in mind. See WP:ALBUMSTYLE for additional info. Also, please do not add genres without a reliable source, as this violates WP:V and WP:OR. Kind regards, take care. Good start. IMO an edge case regarding wp:notability. The wording is misleading. The Grammy website says he has won zero awards and was nominated for 6. The article says he has won multiple Grammy awards. If a work that he contributed to won an award, it is not correct to say the he won that award. Happy editing!
