What? edit

What, there's been no posting here since 13 December 2021, and also no recent edit contributions by Markvs88?

I just read the (archived copy of) "Editing Wikipedia Isn't Easy" or linked from ur userpage... that was good writing in 2011 IMHO by the Hartford Courant journalist and you must have served as a very good interviewee, giving her good guidance. :) --Doncram (talk, contribs) 11:32, 9 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

And, your 2012 mention of An example of a change without consensus as "This is a great example of how one side totally ignoring the other still leads to a change going through." is apt. I certainly noticed and didn't like the inane category name change being implemented everywhere, but I don't think I ever found my way to that very unpleasant CFD. Seems like time to ignore that, and re-establish categories for the churches (while letting categories of church buildings continue, i suppose, but revisiting of its members to make sure that they (or almost all of them) are also in categories of churches). I dunno, this is maybe reflective of my attitude and approach about bad WP decisions and processes.

Funny I was browsing in old stuff, which brings me to here, but which also related to editor BHG (nominator of that CFD, and deletion nominator for wp:ITSACASTLE essay who, at the time, I experienced as, well, unhelpful). Too bad you have not been contributing recently! The NRHP wikiproject has seemingly plateaued, by the way, and the percentage of NRHPs which have been "articled" has actually been declining slightly, given delistings of ones having articles and new NRHP listings outpacing v. modest new article contributions, as can be seen in wp:NRHPPROGRESS history. Wikipedia is going downhill? :( --Doncram (talk, contribs) 11:50, 9 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
