Thank you for the warm welcome. I was fairly certain that I had ended my recent contribution to the talk page with a signature, but at typing from a cell phone with bad WiFi.

Category tools edit

Hey there. Looks like you know how to make redirects now. Congrats! I noticed you've been doing some mass category depopulation, so I wanted to refer you to this tool which will make your life a LOT easier from the category pages: User:קיפודנחש/cat-a-lot. From one screen you can remove categories and customize the edit summary. Try HotCat as well in Preferences>Gadgets>HotCat. It makes adding cats to individual pages easier. It would speed up depopulating a bit, but Cat-a-Lot would definitely be the better tool for mass depopulating or moving. Happy editing! -2pou (talk) 16:53, 13 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Ninjago (TV series) edit

Hi thanks for your contribution to the page. I just wanted to make you aware that the plot summaries have recently been reduced down to 500 words per season per MOS:TVPLOT which inevitably means leaving out some of the detail. Can we avoid adding more detail to the summaries in future so that we can maintain this word count? I will add a hidden note to the page to reflect this. Thanks Fieryninja (talk) 07:03, 8 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Multiple AFC/R requests edit

Hi, Painting17. Regarding your inquiry in this edit summary, what you did works just fine. But to do it all at once, you would need to enclose the requested redirects in brackets [[]] and separate them however you want (comma, slash, hyphen, space, etc. All should work.). For the linked example it would be this:

Make sense? If you don't enclose in brackets, the script will do it for you, but only for a single request. If you use brackets, it will just use your text. You know how to create these on your own, though; you just made two. Are there other questions making you hesitant on creating these ones in particular? -2pou (talk) 00:53, 12 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Ruck family tree edit

Thankyou for your comment on the article's talk page. I have now created the Atkin & Low family tree which includes those you mentioned. Best wishes. Daemonickangaroo2018 (talk) 14:43, 24 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Please do not use small tags in family trees edit

I have fixed some of the family trees that you have edited in order to help them comply with MOS:FONTSIZE. Also, <small /> is not valid markup. Instead, use <small>...</small>. – Jonesey95 (talk) 02:01, 26 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Bruce Wayne (2022 film character) edit

A tag has been placed on Draft:Bruce Wayne (2022 film character) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

Complete WP:FANCRUFT that doesn't meet notability guidelines in the slightest

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Hi, you have listed James A. Garfield for TFA at pending. I have tentatively reserved a date for it for February, but if you would still like it be considered you will need to nominate it at Wikipedia:Today's featured article/requests. Cheers. Gog the Mild (talk) 16:29, 2 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Draftifying edit

Hi Painting17, I noticed you are doing a lot of good work here, and thanks for that! Just a small note: please don't draftify test articles such as Cragdor the Destroyer."test" and "wait crap this isn't my profile" can just be speedy deleted. When draftifying please notify the page creator, and nominate the leftover redirect for speedy deletion under R2. You can read more about all that at WP:DRAFTIFY. Thanks! – NJD-DE (talk) 00:27, 23 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

You're right! I was trying to get the article out of the mainspace as fast as possible, but completely forgot about speedy deletion. I suppose this is an example ofWP:RUSHDELETE. Painting17 (talk) 00:43, 23 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
No worries. Actually I had already tagged it for speedy deletion but probably you were still looking at the older revision of the article when you moved it. Anyway, thanks for helping to get this out of mainspace! :) – NJD-DE (talk) 00:48, 23 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Rao Inderjit Singh, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ministry of Planning. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

February 2022 edit

Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made to Slaves Today: you may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template index/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Thank you. Happy Editing--IAmChaos 04:23, 22 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, such as at Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2022 February 21, (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

 1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
 2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button   located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. –LaundryPizza03 (d) 09:40, 23 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Could you please expand the Birley family tree? Mark and Annabel had a second son, Rupert, and India Jane has married three times. No Swan So Fine (talk) 21:01, 13 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

@No Swan So Fine I haven't edited tree templates in almost a year, but I can probably do it assuming it passes the notability guidelines. I might have a bit of trouble formatting three marriages. Painting17 (talk) 22:32, 13 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
Many thanks, I do find them helpful when navigating biographies. No Swan So Fine (talk) 22:35, 13 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
Unfortunately, I couldn't add them. None of them have articles and the template just doesn't have room. If appropriate, I can certainly add infoboxes each article to help navigation. There is also a category for them at Category:Birley family. Apologies for the inconvenience, and I hope this helps. Painting17 (talk) 23:04, 13 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

Shooting Stars (2023 film) moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Shooting Stars (2023 film), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Star Mississippi 15:34, 15 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

@Star Mississippi I'm quite confused. I never moved the Shooting Stars draft into the mainspace, nor did I ever nominate it for review. Painting17 (talk) 18:49, 15 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
Hi @Painting17. That was done by @Bennyvenny with this edit. They should not have done so without your OK. It hasn't been submitted for review yet, so feel free to continue working on it where you were. Star Mississippi 19:48, 15 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
