Skysmith's list of missing articles/Biology/Fungi edit

I hope you don't mind, and will find constructive, my addition to Wikipedia:WikiProject Missing encyclopedic articles/Skysmith's list of missing articles/Biology/Fungi. —Anomalocaris (talk) 06:44, 30 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Looks fine and relevant to me - Skysmith (talk) 06:52, 30 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Missing topics about Religions edit

Not sure if you want random IP editors messing with your lists, so I thought I'd bring it up here. Under the Zoroastrianism heading you have an entry for Angira Mainya, A Zoroastrian evil spirit, which looks like an alternate spelling of Angra Mainyu, but a quick search for this spelling brings up only four results (your list, a mirror of your list, and two more wikis). Probably safe to remove. -165.234.252.11 (talk) 18:50, 10 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hm. Good point. And comments like this are certainly appreciated. I will remove it with the next update. Thank you. Skysmith (talk) 19:21, 10 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

User:Skysmith/Missing topics about Literature edit

Hi, Skysmith. While blueing some links I noticed that you don't list Romany literature. Not that there is an awful lot of it, but there is some. Also, listed under Germany you have "Johann Christoph Friedrich von Schlegel (1772-1829) German writer and critic". I think this is probably a confusion of Johann Christoph Friedrich Schiller with Karl Wilhelm Friedrich Schlegel (1772-1829), German writer and critic. --Antiquary (talk) 12:19, 27 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Missing articles about Norwegian locations edit

Hi, I came across this list of missing locations in Norway. Four of them appears to already exist:

Wasn't sure if I should just edit your list directly, so I figured I'd post here first. Cheers, Nettrom (talk) 23:26, 10 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

You are welcome to write this kind of notes to the page. Thank you. I'll take these into account when I have time to update tha pages - Skysmith (talk) 17:33, 11 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
Done (added notes to the list) Cheers, Nettrom (talk) 16:32, 12 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Missing Topics about medical technology edit

Hi, I was going through the Medical technology requested articles and I'd really like to see an article on Barostim Therapy. I've just added it to your list with some references. I hope thats ok! :) Thanks! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ssfjones (talkcontribs) 14:52, 12 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Disruptive editing edit

You undid a series of edits I'd made with no explanation. This is disruptive and unhelpful. If you had a reason to undo my edits, you should have explained it in the edit summary. If you did not have a reason, you shouldn't have undone my work. 95.145.130.94 (talk) 13:48, 8 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

There's a reason you were blocked. Including accusing others of vandalism and you undoing other people's work - Skysmith (talk) 15:20, 8 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

COI Help edit

Hi Skysmith. I noticed you were active at WikiProject Computer Security and was wondering if you had a minute to chip in here on a page about an IT Security company, where I have disclosed a COI. CorporateM (Talk) 19:08, 11 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

is it ok edit

to appropriate your page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Skysmith/Missing_topics_about_Espionage

and make it part of the resurrected espionage project as a sub page

It is quite amazing how it is a list of red links even now

Asking this as a matter of courtesy - I realise that most would simply copy it regardless :( JarrahTree 01:47, 16 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Copy if you want, or link it to your project page. Note that I will edit this one later, adding and removing links. - Skysmith (talk) 08:18, 16 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
after years of inertness and atrophy the project is being resurrected and the sheer mass of red links is intriguing - thanks JarrahTree 08:21, 16 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

I am not speaking your language but if I can guess your busines right; no POV-related language in the text, thank you - Skysmith (talk) 13:08, 23 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Whitstable edit

You changed the text relating to the constituency and MP in such a way that it was out of date. I reverted it commenting it was probable vandalism supposing it to be a new editor playing games. Unfortunately I said that before I checked your page - had I checked first I would have assumed it was a mistake. So, my apologies for the accusative edit summary. Genie (feral child) edit

Hello, regarding your revert on Genie (feral child), please see MOS:NOTSEEALSO, which reads, in part, "As a general rule, the "See also" section should not repeat links that appear in the article's body or its navigation boxes."
