Women's biographies edit

Hi there, Vecihi91, and thanks for writing well over a hundred biographies of women in sports over the past year. These contributions certainly help us to reduce the gender gap on Wikipedia. I hope you will continue along the same lines in 2022. If so, you might find it useful to become a member of WikiProject Women in Red where we are trying to improve coverage of women. Below you'll see our plans for this January. But whether or not you become a member, we look forward to further articles about women. Happy editing!--Ipigott (talk) 13:24, 4 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Tennis at the 2022 Mediterranean Games – Men's singles edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Tennis at the 2022 Mediterranean Games – Men's singles requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organized event (tour, function, meeting, party, etc.) that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. – DarkGlow • 19:56, 28 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

About your edits edit

I've noticed you removed the semi-finalist and quarter-finalist sections in the article 2023 ITF Women's World Tennis Tour (January–March), without adequately explaining why (I only see "Only the champions and finalists should play the final. thanks" which does not explain anything). As you can see, all previous editions' articles have the columns for semi-finalists and quarter-finalists, but you seem not to notice the correct (or agreed) format of similar articles. Please reply soon, or else I will revert your no-consensus edits. Thank you. Timothytyy (talk) 06:39, 6 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Vecihi91 After checking your editing history on that page, I believe that you are unreasonably removing content in the recent few edits (although you created the page). I'll revert them immediately for reader's convenience. If you think your edits are totally reasonable, ask for other WikiProject Tennis members to discuss about it in the article's (or WikiProject's if necessary) talk page. Thank you.
