High school history classes on power and government organization tend to end at decolonisation. The recent history is missing. It was followed by urbanization and devolution of power within one nation-state. Commonwealth countries remain the most top-heavy in the world. Municipalism. World Cities. New urban agenda. COVID. "Creatures of Provinces." Resiliency ought to have something to do with the ability and willingness to change, no? Correlation to resiliency? Efficiency? responsiveness?
