Welcome to the Napoleonic fiction group, an initiative of the Military history WikiProject and the Novels WikiProject.
Purpose & scope edit
To organise editor collaborations on Napoleonic era fiction articles. Although by their nature they will contain fictional elements, only those articles that deal factually with Napoleonic warfare as a major theme are considered to come under the scope of this working group (note:all of the books in the following series, and similar ones should be included even though some are before the rise of Napoleon). These include (but are not limited to):
- The Sharpe series of novels by Bernard Cornwell, and related TV series.
- The Hornblower series of novels by C. S. Forester, and related TV series.
- The Aubrey-Maturin series by Patrick O'Brian and the related movie Master and Commander: Far Side of the World.
- The Thomas Kydd series of novels by Julian Stockwin.
- The Ramage series of novels by Dudley Pope.
