From the editors

Welcome to the third Bugle for 2022!

Over half of last month's new featured articles were nominated by two editors: two from Gog the Mild and, in a rarely seen achievement, three from buidhe. Nick-D, Hog Farm and SN54129 contributed the remainder of the FA nominations. The regular article news section provides an overview of these articles, as well as the six new A-class articles.

This month's book reviews section includes a review by Nick-D of a work evaluating Adolf Hitler's military leadership as well as a wrap up of military history reviews recently published elsewhere.

Contest department

For the February 2022 Article writing contest, five editors submitted entries. Hog Farm entered eight articles, which resulted in the win and the WikiChevrons, with a total of 69 points. Gog the Mild took second place and the Writer's Barnstar with 55 points from four articles. Catlemur, Djmaschek, and Zawed were the other participants for the month. As always, any editors working on articles at the moment should consider submitting them for the current month of the competition.
