Welcome to the Sword of Truth task force of WikiProject Novels! aims to create a standard of excellence for articles about Terry Goodkind's epic fantasy series, The Sword of Truth. In general, this WikiProject aims to organize, expand, and improve Wikipedia's encyclopedic coverage of this series of novels.
Main Project Discussion: To make propositions or proposals, discuss issues, share ideas, and make comments, please do so at the Sword of Truth General Forum.

WikiProject Sword of Truth aims to create a standard of excellence for articles about Terry Goodkind and Terry Goodkind's epic fantasy series, the The Sword of Truth. Participants here work together to improve the encyclopedic coverage of all aspects of the Sword of Truth.

Always bear in mind the fundamentals of Notability in fiction and your Manual of Style and guide to better articles.
When naming new articles, use standard naming conventions. If a disambiguation is needed, use the format "Article (Sword of Truth)" (Such as in Magic (Sword of Truth)).
To do - tasks edit
This Section is rather old this is high priority for figuring out what really needs to be found.
To help other users know what tasks are currently being worked on, simply sign your name under the task using a :* and ~~~~. If you finish a task, please put a line through the text like this. You can do this by selecting the text and using the slash through command, which looks like this: <s>Sample Text</s>.

Please note that multiple users may sign up for the same task; in fact, collaboration is encouraged!
- Task 2 - Create a comprehensive Geography Page for the Sword of Truth (Geography of The Sword of Truth).
- This includes countries, mountain ranges, physical landmarks, etc. Geographical locations worthy of their own article should be linked in a section at the top of the article. Additional geographical locations should be listed in a new section below.
- Dave Quixote 03:22, 2 October 2006 (UTC) I'll have a go at this.
- Task 3 - Create a comprehensive Location Page for the Sword of Truth (Locations in The Sword of Truth).
- This includes notable buildings, man-made structures, etc. Extremely notable locations should be linked in a section at the top of the article. Additional locations should be listed in a new section below.
- Merrit 20:41, 16 October 2006 (UTC) I'll look into this one. May take me a while, as I'm trying to concentrate on three school classes as well.
- Task 4 - Create a comprehensive Item Page for the Sword of Truth (Items in The Sword of Truth).
- This should only include items crucial to the story line that are of significant importance to the plot. Extremely notable items (such as the Sword of Truth) should be linked in a section at the top of the article. Additional items should be listed in a new section below.
- Task 5 - Improve the Creatures in The Sword of Truth page.
- Merge any existing creature pages into the article and add notable unmentioned creatures.
- Task 6 - Improve the coverage of the notable People and Group pages.
- This includes but is not limited to the Mord'Sith, Mud People, Sisters of the Dark, and Sisters of the Light. Existing pages relevant to these articles should be merged and redirected to the said articles (for example, the individual Sisters of the Dark should be discussed in the Sisters of the Dark article).
- B4rr4g3 Always here to help! ... At least when I have time. I'm not begging, but it would be nice if someone else helped me with this one, the information about the races and different groups are dense and need a lot of time and effort so please help out if you can. Once again, I'm not begging.
- Task 8 - Copy Edit/Revision of all the Plot Introductions and Plot Summaries of the actual novels of the Sword of Truth.
- When revising plot summaries and introductions, a major priority must be to ensure that accurate content is included. All plot summaries and introductions should be written in as encyclopedic a tone as possible. Present the facts in a clear, concise manner, and avoid sounding like a story or advertisement. Give only the essential information necessary. Minute details should be avoided. Excessive plot summaries could violate Wikipedia policies on fair use.
- I'll spearhead this catagory. Being the worlds formost authority on the series (even Terry calls me to double check facts;)), I think my talents are best spent here first. I will be calling on a few others to lend assistance as well. Mystar 01:24, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
