Reason: Suspicious edits to U.S. road articles from an IP in Poland. Suspect this may be a former WP:USRD user indefinitely blocked. The IP appears on several blacklists. --Rschen7754 18:33, 16 April 2011 (UTC)

On first glance it doesn't appear to be a proxy. That's roughly the "normal" amount of blacklists for any IP. Not open on any standard proxy ports. However, having said that, the IP seems to know his or her way around the 'pedia. So I'm going to leave this inconclusive for now and dig into it more later. {{notaproxy}} At this point it's behaving, this looks like it belongs to an ISP, which means if there was a proxy, it could be up and down. -- DQ (t) (e) 11:51, 19 April 2011 (UTC)

Reason: Clearly the same bloke as 78.159.115.175, who was just blocked as an open proxy. W is on a roll, it seems. Favonian (talk) 11:27, 19 April 2011 (UTC)

This is likely his home range (dynamic). It doesn't seem open. -- zzuuzz (talk) 11:29, 19 April 2011 (UTC)
{{notaproxy}} No ports open. -- DQ (t) (e) 11:53, 19 April 2011 (UTC)

  • Appears to be editing through a broken proxy - his edit added the following text to the article:
Proxy-Connection: keep-alive
Cache-Control: max-age=0

Mike Rosoft (talk) 17:48, 28 April 2011 (UTC)

It doesn't appear to be an open proxy. It's difficult to say if it would happen again, but my guess is it's not worth extending the block at this time. -- zzuuzz (talk) 18:30, 28 April 2011 (UTC)

Reason: On Sex symbol, adding exactly the same references and entries without citations on to the article as previous ip addresses.Curb Chain (talk) 09:29, 29 April 2011 (UTC)

Please help me to check if this IP is open proxy so I can block it on Czech Wikipedia if necessary. I suspect it as open proxy as it's Italian IP and it made several suspicious edits, e. g. rewriting Czech origin to Moravian which is often a problem on Czech Wikipedia - many IPs try to make such unsourced edits which could be considered as POV without reliable sources and such edits are being usually reverted. I have no knowledge how to get the URL of a web proxy or its port. Thank you for any help. --Wespecz (talk) 10:19, 7 May 2011 (UTC)

I'm leaning against an open proxy here. None of the standard proxy ports are open, no webhosting running, and it appears to be on a moderately dynamic range (DSL/Cable). It could be part of an anonymiser network (we've had a few of those come up here, but they are very difficult to trace). However, the more likely explanation is that it isn't a proxy, and just a czech living abroad. Sailsbystars (talk) 15:13, 7 May 2011 (UTC)
{{notaproxy}}, concur with that. -- zzuuzz (talk) 19:51, 8 May 2011 (UTC)

Reason: Suspicious edits. This IP has been used to restore material previously restored by an editor who has been accused of sockpuppetry.[1][2] TFD (talk) 01:17, 12 May 2011 (UTC)

{{notaproxy}} and not likely to be one in my opinion. -- DQ (t) (e) 03:02, 12 May 2011 (UTC)
