Draft article awaiting review for director/writer Misha Manson-Smith edit

I have a draft biography pending review for director/writer Misha Manson-Smith. It has yet to be reviewed after some weeks. Seeking feedback to progress it getting published. Intending to link it to a new article on "hybrid comedy" which is a niche but specific sub genre as performed by the likes of Sacha Baron Cohen, Nathan Fielder, Marc Wootton and Eric Andre, in which actors play fictional characters interacting with unsuspecting people in documentary like situations. Manson-Smith has directed a number of works in this field. On the help chat, I was advised to post here, along with the key citations that demonstrate notability. Links below. Any feedback would be most helpful.

Richard M. Schulze request edit

  Resolved

Hello! On behalf of American businessman Richard M. Schulze, I've submitted an edit request to update the poorly written Philanthropy section of his biography. None of the claims I've proposed are contentious, but I do not edit the main space because of my conflict of interest.

Are any WikiProject Biography members able to take a look at the edit request? Thanks in advance for any feedback or article updates! Inkian Jason (talk) 13:51, 5 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Discussion regarding Mikhail Kalinin and the Katyn massacre edit

Hello,

There's a new discussion regarding whether the inclusion of his co-signing of the order for the Katyn massacre in the lead is WP:UNDUE, and/or whether the claim that he held significant responsibility for the massacre is WP:OR or not. Any community input would be appreciated! The Kip 02:19, 9 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Request for Megan Twohey biography edit

Hello! My name is Danielle Rhoades Ha and I work for [[The New York Times Company]]. I have disclosed my affiliation at [[Talk:Megan Twohey]], where I was asked by User:Tamzin to verify my identity after flagging some issues with Megan Twohey's biography. I am struggling to get editor feedback [[Talk:Megan_Twohey#Revisiting_the_transgender_healthcare_section|here] ], where I've outlined my concerns related to the "Transgender healthcare" section. I have outlined how the section has non-neutral text, overemphasizes the amount of criticism received, and uses sources labeled as "commentary" or op-eds. I have also provided more accurate and neutral replacement text based on the same sources, including the sources I think may be problematic. I still welcome User:Tamzin's feedback, but I would also like to invite other editors to weigh in. Are any editors here willing to take a look at my proposed changes in more detail? Thanks for your consideration. DanielleRhoadesHa (talk) 20:29, 9 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

WikiProject Living People Patrol edit

Hello, all,

I propose merging Wikipedia:Living People Patrol (long defunct) into this group. Specifically, if nobody objects, I would like to WP:MOVE that page to Wikipedia:WikiProject Biography/Living People Patrol (along with the talk page's archive) and then redirect the (currently blank) talk page here. That way, if anyone goes looking for help, they'll have a chance of finding it.

Please let me know if you think this is a bad idea.

Updating the Evan G. Greenberg article edit

Hi editors, this is Brooke, an employee from Chubb Limited. I'm here today because I've posted a (rather large) edit request to Mr. Greenberg's Talk page to revise the current Career section, which is outdated and lacks tons of solid sources I found. If any editors here have any interest in evaluating this request, I would deeply appreciate it. And, just to be clear, I've disclosed my COI on my user page for those who are curious. Former finnish SOF soldier and serial entrepreneur Janne Lehtonen edit

There is a draft for the person in question (Janne Lehtonen).

Janne has served 10+ years in the finnish Navy's special operation forces. He was notably one of the first-ever operator in the unit, along side his fellow collegues of the reality TV programme Erikoisjoukot.

He is also a firefighter, paramedic and serial entrepreneur. I hope someone views this draft of notable Finnish person!

Deletion nomination for Category:American politicians who are the sole member of their party in statewide office edit

I am commenting to appeal for Keep votes on this deletion entry for Category:American politicians who are the sole member of their party in statewide office. I believe it is an extremely obvious measure of the unique identity of politicians who are incentivized to be "mavericks," as well as electoral geography and power balance. Much of the reasoning for deletion relies on the nominator's as-yet unsourced insistence that categories must permanently apply to pages, rather than be subject to current events or changes in employment, like elections. Others have simply declared this plainly unique status to be non-defining. The Delete voters have been largely unresponsive, and even when they do respond, have been argumentatively selective and engage in sophistry. Thank you very much for your consideration. 1Matt20 (talk) 18:45, 17 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
