The Women in Film Crystal + Lucy Awards—first presented in 1977 by the now–Los Angeles chapter of the Women in Film organization—were presented to honor women in communications and media.[1] The awards include the Crystal Award, the Lucy Award, the Dorothy Arzner Directors Award, the MaxMara Face of the Future Award, and the Kodak Vision Award.

Lucy Award edit
The Lucy Award for Innovation in Television was founded in 1994 by Joanna Kerns, Bonny Dore, and Loreen Arbus. It was named to pay tribute to Lucille Ball and is presented in association with Ball's estate. It is given to recognize women and men and their creative works that have enhanced the perception of women through the medium of television.[5]
