Nguyen Minh Triet

Nguyễn Minh Triết (born October 8, 1942) was president of Vietnam from 2006 to 2011. He was elected by the National Assembly of Vietnam with 464 votes (94%) on June 27, 2006. He was previously the head of the Communist Party of Vietnam in Ho Chi Minh City.
