Alexander Berry
(1781–1873)

Australian pioneer who established the first settlement of the South Coast of New South Wales. Earlier in his life he travelled extensively as a merchant and was the captain of the 'City of Edinburgh' when it was involved in the rescue of the survivors of the Boyd massacre in New Zealand.
