DescriptionAqua spacecraft model.png	English: Artist's rendering, from NASA, of the Aqua spacecraft in its in-flight configuration. Part of the Earth Observing System, Aqua specifically studies the precipitation, evaporation, and cycling of water on Earth. It is also notably one of two satellites, along with Terra, that carries the Moderate-resolution imaging spectroradiometer (MODIS) photographic instrument, famous for its high-resolution imagery of the planet from orbit.
