My name is Pedro Gaston Gonnet and I was born January 6th, 1978 in Montevideo, Uruguay.

I am currently living in Zurich, Switzerland.

I am currently working on a PhD in Computer Science at the ETH Zurich.

The focus of my research is in Topic:Numerical Algorithms, and I have experience in Topic:Bioinformatics and Topic:Simulation Science.

Work in Progress

I am currently trying to pull together a Department of Scientific Computing in the School of Computer Science. I'm currently adding courses to the topic Numerical Algorithms.

I am also fiddling with an introductory programming course in Zonnon which will be added to the Department of Computer Programming as soon as I am no longer ashamed of it.
